Who we are

Fultons Interiors Ltd, trading as Fultons, is responsible for the personal information we collect through this website and when we respond to your enquiries. In data protection law, this means we are the data controller.

Contact our Privacy Team at sales@fultons.com, telephone 028 3832 5768, or write to Fultons Interiors Ltd, 55–63 Queen Street, Lurgan, BT66 8BL, United Kingdom.

Our website lets you browse furniture and send product, general, interior-design, trade and showroom-visit enquiries. It does not accept online purchases or payments.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us through our forms or subsequent correspondence. This can include your name, email address, telephone number, town or city, company name, profession, website, project requirements and messages. Product enquiries can also include the furniture model, dimensions, finishes and displayed price you select.

Fields marked as required are needed to handle the relevant form. You can choose whether to provide optional information. Without enough contact information or details of your request, we may be unable to respond. Please avoid sending payment card details or sensitive personal information through an enquiry form.

When you browse, Shopify and the services used by our website may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, cookie preferences and security signals. We receive information directly from you and through these website services.

Why we use information

We use personal information for the following purposes and legal reasons:

Purpose Legal basis
Responding to requests for a quotation or taking steps you request before buying goods or services Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract
Answering general questions, discussing design projects, arranging showroom visits and assessing trade enquiries Our legitimate interests in providing customer service and managing our business relationships; steps before a contract where applicable
Maintaining correspondence and handling complaints Our legitimate interests in providing support and resolving concerns; legal obligations where applicable
Keeping the website reliable and protecting forms against spam, fraud and misuse Our legitimate interests in operating a secure website
Meeting a legal duty or responding to a valid legal request Compliance with a legal obligation
Optional cookies, personalised advertising and marketing communications where consent is required Your consent

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the effects on your privacy and use only information reasonably needed for that purpose. You can object to this processing by contacting us.

Sending an enquiry does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. If we ask you to subscribe separately, we will explain what you will receive and how to withdraw your consent. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop us answering your enquiry.

Who receives information

We share relevant information with service providers that support our website, email, IT and customer service. These include Shopify, which hosts the website, and services used to protect enquiry forms against spam.

Where needed to deal with your request, we may share relevant details with a furniture supplier or a professional involved in your project. We limit this to information needed for the request. We may also share information with professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where necessary and lawful.

Shopify and website activity

Our website uses Shopify. Shopify processes information to host, operate and secure the website. Shopify Network Intelligence is currently enabled. If you use features supported by this service, information about your activity may also be used with information from other interactions with Shopify and its merchants to improve services, understand website use and support personalisation or advertising, subject to the applicable consent choices.

Shopify is responsible for some of this processing in its own right. Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and use Shopify's privacy controls to find out more or exercise rights relating to Shopify's own processing.

Google Analytics and Meta advertising tools

With your consent to the relevant optional cookies, we use Google Analytics and Google advertising measurement tools to understand visits to the website and how people find us. Information shared with Google can include the page address, browser and device information, cookie or advertising identifiers, and website interactions. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and use Google's advertising controls for more information and choices.

With your consent to marketing cookies, we use the Meta pixel to measure website activity and help assess and improve advertising on Facebook and Instagram. This can share page and product views, searches, browser information and cookie or click identifiers with Meta. Meta may associate this activity with your Facebook or Instagram account and use it for measurement and personalised advertising under its own settings and Privacy Policy.

You can decline optional tracking and change or withdraw your choices through the website's cookie preferences control. Sending an enquiry does not by itself give consent to analytics or advertising tracking.

Cookies and your choices

The website uses cookies and similar technologies needed for its operation, security and remembering your choices. Optional cookies and tracking that require consent should only operate after you agree. You can accept or reject optional categories using the cookie banner and change your choices through the website's cookie preferences control.

We use spam protection on enquiry forms. This may process device, browser and interaction information to help distinguish genuine enquiries from automated abuse.

Information processed outside the UK

Our service providers may process personal information outside the UK, including when supporting the website and email services. Where a transfer requires protection under data protection law, we use applicable safeguards, such as a recognised adequacy arrangement or approved contractual terms. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

How long we keep information

We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide relevant follow-up and deal with any resulting project or customer-service issue. When deciding how long to keep it, we consider whether the enquiry is ongoing, whether it led to a purchase or continuing business relationship, and whether records are needed for a legal duty or a potential dispute.

We review information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. If you withdraw consent to marketing, we may keep a minimal record of that preference so we can honour it.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to processing, or receive certain information in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. These rights have conditions and exceptions.

Contact sales@fultons.com to make a request. We may need reasonable information to confirm your identity. You can also contact us with a privacy complaint.

You have the right to complain directly to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office. You do not have to complain to us first. If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

We will update this notice when our website or the way we use information changes. The published version will show its update date. If we later introduce online purchasing or new marketing services, we will review this notice and the relevant consent settings before those services begin.
